Three measurements, fitted to you
Cast
How far the stock bends left or right, so your eye lines up with the rib.
Drop
How far the comb sits below the rib, so your eye sits at the right height.
Length
Length of pull, set for the length of your arms and neck.

For extreme adjustments, or if you want dimensions for a custom stock.
What to expect
Fitted on your own gun, by Gil
We have many years of experience with gun fitting, and Gil typically does more than 100 every year. He adjusts the cast, drop and length of your gun’s stock based on your height and the length of your arms and neck.
Most fits are done on the customer’s own gun, but Gil also has a try-gun for extreme adjustments, or if you want dimensions for a custom stock.
Remember: most gun fit problems can be solved with a good gun mount. Our gun mount practice tips help you train smarter and build consistency, because even the best-fitting stock can’t make up for poor form.
